Name Emissions from point and diffuse sources
Short Description Emissions of pollutants from point and diffuse sources.
Definition Annual emissions of nutrients, organic matter and hazardous substances from point discharges and diffuse sources to inland surface waters, aggregated by pollutant and spatial unit.
Methodology for obtaining data The combination of the values in the fields 'Spatial unit identifier' and 'Spatial unit identifier scheme' creates the unique identifier for the spatial unit.

Field 'observedPropertyDeterminandCode' contains the unique identifier of the pollutant.

If the emission value is not available, not known, not relevant or not significant, then keep the 'resultEmissionsValue' field empty and select the correct code for the 'resultObservationStatus' field instead. This field can be also used to describe situations when the specific source category does not follow the standard definition.
