Methodology for obtaining data	Each record in this table must have a unique combination of the values in the fields "monitoringSiteIdentifier", "monitoringSiteIdentifierScheme", "observedProperty" and "phenomenonTimePeriod". The monitoring site is uniquely identified by combination of values in the fields "monitoringSiteIdentifier" and "monitoringSiteIdentifierScheme". The monitoring site identifier should be present in the list of monitoring sites (http://dd.eionet.europa.eu/vocabulary/wise/Monitor...) that is kept updated with the data reported under the WISE Spatial Data and/or the WFD 2016 Spatial data flows. With regard to streamflow gauging stations, the selection of the reported sites relies on the Data Provider. The following generic guidelines are provided on the selection of stations: those located on the outlet of the river, at the intersection of the main stream with its major tributaries or directly upstream and downstream of major water abstraction points. Stations may also be selected to describe natural flow, such as pristine sites unaffected by reservoirs or water abstractions. Note that daily streamflow data can be reported.
