Name NatDA ID
Definition Unique record identifier within the NatDA database for nationally designated areas.

The unique NatDA ID is identical to the SITE_ID of the World Database on Protected and Conserved Areas (WDPCA) and it is reused in the global database.
Methodology for obtaining data This value is required.

This field may NOT be changed, as it serves as the link to the source database and later to the WDPCA.

For newly created designated areas, new site codes must be requested by an appointed Reportnet user, Eionet NFP or NatDA reporter registered in Reportnet 2, via the site code allocation web service at http://dd.eionet.europa.eu/services/siteCodes.

If designated areas are to be merged or split, the NatDA helpdesk should be consulted on how to proceed with the site codes.
