Name	Thematic identifier - identifier scheme
Definition	Identifier defining the scheme used to assign the thematic identifier. NOTE 1: Reporting requirements for different environmental legislation mandate that each spatial object is assigned an identifier conforming to specific lexical rules. NOTE 2: These rules are often inconsistent so a spatial object may be assigned multiple identifiers which are used for object referencing to link information to the spatial object. Methodology for obtaining data	This value is required. For river basin districts sub-units reported under WFD, use the value 'euSubUnitCode'. For river basin districts sub-units (or equivalent spatial unit) not reported under WFD, use the value 'eionetSubUnitCode'. For each identifier scheme, a list of valid identifiers will be kept updated in http://dd.eionet.europa.eu/vocabulary/wise/Spatial... based on the spatial reference data reported under WISE-5 or under the "Water Framework Directive - River Basin Management Plans - 2016 Spatial data" reporting obligation.
