Name	NatDA ID
Definition	Unique record identifier within the NatDA database for nationally designated areas. The NatDA ID is identical to the WDPA ID and reused in the World Database on Protected Areas (WDPA).
Methodology for obtaining data	This value is required. This field may NOT be changed, as it serves as the link to the source database and later to the WDPA. For newly created designated areas, new site codes must be requested by an appointed Reportnet user (NFP, NRC biodivdata, or NatDA reporter) via the site code allocation web service at http://dd.eionet.europa.eu/services/siteCodes. If designated areas are to be merged or split, the NatDA helpdesk should be consulted on how to proceed with the site codes.
