Definition		Intercropping is a multiple cropping practice that involves growing two or more crops in proximity at the same time and in the same space. The most common goal of intercropping is to be more space-efficient with the resource of cultivated land. The space in between plants of one crop type, that is not needed, can be occupied by another crop type. Like this, the production results in overall higher yields compared to for example growing crops one after the other in a crop rotating manner.. Further, intercropping can reduce the risk of soil erosion or of plant pests, and can balance the content enhancement and exploitation of soil nutrients through the combined crop species. Examples of intercropping strategies are planting a deep-rooted crop with a shallow-rooted crop, or planting a tall crop (nut trees) with a shorter crop that requires partial shade (arable crop).

It is strongly recommended to use an exported CSV file as a template for bulk editing. Columns and rows can be added to or deleted from the template file.
A concept can be ignored by prepending a double-slash '//' to the concept row in the CSV

If the header row contains unknown elements the import will aborted and data will be rolled back
Erroneous concept rows are ignored, valid data rows are still imported
Successful import cannot be undone (unless "undo checkout" is performed)
If a concept with the same identifier already exists in the vocabulary it will be overwritten
"Purge Vocabulary" option deletes all the vocabulary concepts before import
