Definition	Identifier of the surface water body, groundwater body or marine region or sub-region being monitored.
Methodology for obtaining data	This value is required. Use the "thematicIdIdentifier" value of the surface water body or groundwater body, or marine region or sub-region (as in http://dd.eionet.europa.eu/vocabulary/msfd/regions) to which this monitoring site is assigned. The identifier information must be supplemented by providing the respective identifier scheme information in the "featureOfInterestIdentifierScheme" field. For marine waters it is preferred to report the marine sub-region to which the monitoring site is assigned, if available.
