Name Successors - identifier scheme
Definition Identifier defining the scheme used to assign the successors identifier.
Methodology for obtaining data This value is required if the "successorsIdentifier" is reported.

In the RiverBasinDistrict spatial data set:

Use the value 'euRBDCode', for WFD river basin district identifiers.
Use the value 'eionetRBDCode', for any other river basin district (or equivalent spatial unit) identifiers reported under an EIONET data flow.

In the SubUnit spatial data set:

Use the value 'euSubUnitCode', for WFD sub-unit identifiers.
Use the value 'euSubUnitCode', for any other sub-unit (or equivalent spatial unit) identifiers reported under an EIONET data flow.

In the SurfaceWaterBody or the SurfaceWaterBodyLine spatial data set:

Use the value 'euSurfaceWaterBodyCode', for WFD surface water body identifiers.
Use the value 'eionetSurfaceWaterBodyCode', for any other surface water body identifiers reported under an EIONET data flow.

In the GroundWaterBody spatial data set:

Use the value 'euGroundWaterBodyCode', for WFD groundwater body identifiers.
Use the value 'eionetGroundWaterBodyCode', for any other groundwater body identifiers reported under an EIONET data flow.

In the ProtectedArea, the ProtectedAreaLine or the ProtectedAreaPoint spatial data set:

Use the value 'euProtectedAreaCode', for WFD protected area identifiers.
Use the value 'eionetProtectedAreaCode', for any other protected area identifiers.
