Concept: Semi-Dry in the eagle vocabulary

Concept URI https://dd.eionet.europa.eu/vocabulary/landcover/eagle/LCH-semidry
Preferred label Semi-Dry
Definition Semi-dry soil regimes are characterized by a sequence of rainy and dry episodes throughout the year, where dry episodes dominate. The ground is often very well drained, so that precipitation infiltrates quickly into lower levels of the ground where it is out of reach for surface vegetation. The soil has a low moisture storage capacity, with only little capillary flow.
